Earth is dyed by hand in earth tones, so no two are quite the same. The shell is hand-dyed and sewn by a small workshop in Dharamshala, India. We fill it with organic flaxseed and organic lavender and close it by hand in Southern California. It is a heart, about 7 x 6 in (18 x 15 cm), with a gentle, even weight that rests over your eyes while you lie still. Warm it in the microwave for 15 to 30 seconds, or chill it in the freezer for a cool, dark few minutes. The lavender is real and is softer when chilled. Because the colour comes from hand-dyeing, Earth is the one to give someone who already has everything: a small, quiet object that was clearly made by people. Spot clean only; there is no removable cover. Hand-dyed in India, filled and finished by hand in Southern California.
