These terms govern your use of www.stillnus.com and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information and forms part of these terms.

stillnus is a small handmade goods business based in Irvine, California. If anything here is unclear, email hello@stillnus.com and a person will answer.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian place the order for you. You agree to give accurate billing and delivery information. We currently sell and ship only within the United States and Canada.

2. Products, descriptions, and photographs

Our products are made by hand in small batches. Natural variation in fabric, grain fill, stitching, and colour is expected and is part of how they are made, not a defect. Screens vary, so colours may not appear exactly as they do in person.

We try hard to describe products accurately. If a product arrives materially different from its description, tell us and we will make it right under our Refund and Returns Policy.

3. An important note about health

Our eye pillows, heart pillows, ice packs, and related goods are comfort items. They are not medical devices, and nothing on this site is medical advice. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

Please use common sense: check the temperature of anything heated or chilled before it touches skin, never heat a product beyond the instructions provided, do not use on broken skin, and keep products away from anyone who cannot move them off themselves unaided. Take care with children, and with anyone who has reduced sensation or circulation. If you have a medical condition, ask your clinician before using any comfort product.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and may change without notice, though a change will never affect an order you have already placed. Applicable sales tax and shipping are calculated at checkout.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, processed by Stripe. We also accept stillnus gift cards. We do not receive or store your full card number.

If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a typographical or system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honour the error. We will always tell you if this happens.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if the order breaches these terms. If we cancel, we refund you in full.

6. Shipping and delivery

We aim to dispatch promptly and will send tracking when your parcel leaves us. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and once a parcel is with the carrier its timing is outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If something arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, contact us and we will help sort it out.

7. Returns and refunds

Our Refund and Returns Policy forms part of these terms. For hygiene reasons some items may be non-returnable once opened; where that applies it is stated on the product page.

8. Gift cards

Gift cards may be redeemed only at www.stillnus.com. They are not reloadable, cannot be exchanged for cash except where the law requires it, and we are not able to replace a lost or stolen card code.

9. Wholesale

Wholesale and stockist orders are governed by the separate terms provided during the wholesale application and on your invoice. Where those terms conflict with these, the wholesale terms apply to the wholesale order.

10. Accounts

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used to break these terms.

11. Reviews and anything else you post

If you submit a review, photograph, or comment, you keep ownership of it and you give us permission to display and share it in connection with our products, including in marketing. Please only submit material that is yours to share, that is honest, and that is not unlawful, abusive, or misleading. We may decline or remove content, but we do not edit reviews to make them more flattering.

12. Our content

The stillnus name, logo, site design, photographs, product designs, and written content belong to stillnus or our licensors. You are welcome to share links and to use our images when writing about us. You may not copy our content for commercial use, resell our products as your own, or reproduce our patterns or designs, without written permission.

13. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break, overload, scrape wholesale, or gain unauthorised access to the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful.

14. Accessibility

We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Our Accessibility Statement explains where we are, what we know is still imperfect, and how to reach us. If any part of this site stops you from ordering, email us and we will take your order personally.

15. Availability of the site

We would like the site to be available and accurate at all times, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it.

16. Disclaimers and limits on our liability

Except where the law does not allow it, the site and its content are provided “as is,” and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. You keep all rights you have under California consumer protection law, and nothing here takes those away.

17. Indemnity

You agree to cover us for claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and we each agree to that jurisdiction.

Before anything formal, please just email us. Nearly everything is easier to resolve in a conversation.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. Changes are not retroactive and do not affect an order already placed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
